About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at DaVita. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with end-stage renal disease. Your primary responsibility will be to assist our registered nurses in delivering dialysis treatments, ensuring the highest level of patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare team
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in healthcare or a related field preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
