Position Overview:

As an Account Executive at ProSpectra, you will play a pivotal role in assisting clients in selecting and purchasing the ideal flooring solutions from our extensive range of brands. Your clientele may include bulk purchasers or large corporations seeking tailored flooring designs for their properties. This role involves making daily sales calls to existing clients while also developing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive list of potential clients to generate sales leads.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, architects, designers, property owners, tenants, and contractors to identify products that meet budgetary constraints.
  • Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, end users, and architects familiar with our offerings.
  • Deliver informative presentations to architects, designers, and end users, highlighting the benefits of our flooring solutions and providing insights on installation and maintenance.
  • Prepare and submit pricing quotes for materials and labor to current and prospective clients.
  • Coordinate with the President and Sales Manager to ensure customer contracts align with estimates and proposals.
  • Work alongside the project team to manage requests for information (RFIs), material orders, and installation logistics.
  • Conduct site visits during project initiation to ensure quality control and adherence to timelines.
  • Draft and present cost proposals for any changes in project scope.
  • Oversee project management in collaboration with the project coordinator or installation supervisor.
  • Address challenges and ensure proper installation of flooring solutions.
  • Ensure timely submission of change orders, billing, and project close-out documentation.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in sales or a background in building science, construction management, or advanced commercial flooring installation is essential.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle are required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints is necessary.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in channel distribution sales.
  • At least 2 years of outside B2B sales experience.
  • Strong mathematical skills to calculate figures such as discounts, commissions, and area measurements.
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time, including potential attendance at industry trade shows.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field is preferred.
