Position Overview:

The Process Engineer role at Flambeau focuses on the design and enhancement of new manufacturing processes while optimizing existing workflows throughout the organization. Key responsibilities encompass establishing and modifying production standards, planning projects, and evaluating materials.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Investigate, design, and refine processes to enhance productivity
  • Spearhead the adoption of new operational procedures
  • Assess and confirm bills of materials and component drawings
  • Diagnose issues and improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical specifications
  • Oversee projects, create training programs, and remain informed on technological innovations
  • Conduct training sessions for technical personnel
  • Execute additional tasks as required
Qualifications

Education/Certification:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience
Skills Required:
  • Expertise in plastic molding process design
  • Experience with Injection and/or blow molding techniques
  • 2-4 years of experience in plastic processing is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Solidworks, and Ladder Logic Programming
Physical Requirements:
  • Primarily a sedentary position with occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds
  • Work environment includes office, laboratory, and production floor settings
