Job Description

Qualcomm is seeking a highly skilled Staff Product Manager for Cloud Platform to join our team. As a key member of our Operations Group, Product Management team, you will be responsible for managing the IOT SW and Solutions roadmap, driving a comprehensive product strategy with emphasis on software capabilities for IOT Products, specifically focused on the Retail Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the IOT SW and Solutions roadmap, identifying gaps in market based on complex analyses of overall ecosystem demands and making portfolio decisions on how these gaps impact product roadmaps.
  • Drive portfolio launch strategies and identify technical marketing opportunities such as conferences, congresses, and direct customer contact to ensure successful product launch.
  • Review, prepare, and deliver technical presentations regarding product roadmaps, RFPs, and/or proposals to demonstrate and market product portfolios to customers and/or prospective customers, integrating customer feedback into project roadmaps.
  • Ensure that product development meets customer expectations, promised deadlines, and aligns with overall roadmap for product portfolio(s).
  • Drive communication plan and communicate appropriately with internal customers, third-party vendors, and senior management to build relationships, ensure alignment and buy-in, and achieve product goals, as well as manage any planned changes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
  • Master's degree in a technical field such as engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.
  • ~10+ years of Product Management or related work experience in embedded platforms including inferencing techniques on CPU, GPU or NPU.
  • ~Experience with Software Architecture and Linux based OS frameworks.
  • ~Identifies gaps in market based on complex analyses of market, customer, technology, and other ecosystem demands and provides this information to guide design conversations.
