The Aviation Maintenance Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the inspection and maintenance of aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position is responsible for certifying logbooks for all aircraft and managing the inspection operations across multiple locations.

This role is integral to our aerial application division, operating under the banner of Diversified Applications, Inc. (DAI), which encompasses a network of aerial application services nationwide. Our mission is to deliver exceptional aerial application solutions from strategically positioned bases, utilizing our expanding fleet of helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guarantee that all aircraft maintenance adheres to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and necessary part replacements.
  • Review and validate the work performed by Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and logbooks, ensuring that all aircraft are certified and documented in their permanent maintenance files.
  • Plan and prepare maintenance and repair estimates, determining the scope of work and required personnel.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as directed by management.
  • Exhibit reliable and consistent attendance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Possession of a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant Mechanics certificate with current FAA Inspection Authorization is mandatory.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience is required.
  • Familiarity with Bell and Hiller helicopters is advantageous.

Work Environment

This position is primarily based in a standard office setting, characterized by a quiet atmosphere. The role requires manual dexterity for various tasks, along with the ability to communicate, walk, stand, and sit. Occasionally, lifting or moving items weighing up to 10 pounds may be necessary.
