Aerial Applicator Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerial Applicator to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As an Aerial Applicator, you will be responsible for providing aerial application services to our customers, ensuring the safe and efficient application of pesticides and other products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct aerial applications in accordance with company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and state regulations.
  • Operate and maintain aircraft in a safe and efficient manner, performing routine maintenance and inspections as required.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve business objectives, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, attending training sessions and workshops as required.
  • Participate in quality control and assurance activities, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid FAA commercial pilot certificate with appropriate ratings and a current class II medical certificate.
  • Have at least 200 hours of AG time and be certified to fly the assigned aircraft.
  • Be currently qualified as a commercial certified pesticide applicator by the state(s) that the product will be applied in.
  • Have passed the National Aerial Pesticide Applicator Pilot Certification Examination.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members.
  • Be able to travel up to 50% of the time, with occasional overnight stays.
