Job Title: Registered Nurse - PACU

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Somerville, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). As a member of our team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the PACU, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician or nurse manager.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • PACU experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work weekend rotations as required by the MNA contract.
