Job Title: Registered Nurse Supervisor

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg Supervisor for a nursing job in Somerville, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising nursing staff, providing administrative and clinical support, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise nursing staff and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Coordinate and facilitate night shift admissions and transfers
  • Perform administrative duties, including staffing and documentation
  • Provide clinical instruction and guidance to nursing staff
  • Collaborate with patients and nursing staff to ensure quality of care
  • Communicate with relevant departments and teams
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Facilitate resolution of questions and issues relating to departmental operations
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Master's degree in psychiatric nursing or BSN degree
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Experience in psychiatric inpatient setting (MSN) or psychiatric setting (BSN)
