Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Perioperative department. As a Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative phases.
- Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and optimal patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- CNOR preferred.
- New nursing graduates welcome.
- Adheres to all I.C.A.R.E. standards.
