Job Summary

The MPS Foundation seeks a highly motivated and organized professional to coordinate special events, programs, and engagement opportunities. This role will facilitate all MPSF special events and engagements, serving as the primary liaison between MPS departments, external partners, and stakeholders for program delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising, donor relations, and program management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee MPSF special events, programs, and engagements, including planning and logistics.
  • Execute annual scholarship reception, golf tournament, and select donor/alumni engagement.
  • Facilitate the Foundation's scholarship program, managing communication with new and existing donors, program partners, and scholars.
  • Develop and manage scholarship application processes for students and coordinate scholarships, including scoring, awarding, and reading.
  • Maintain the MPSF scholarship program, including preparation of new scholarship agreements and maintenance and monitoring of existing scholarship agreements.
  • Manage applicant data and reporting, as well as post-award follow-up and tracking through the MPSF scholarship software.
  • Provide fund management support, review grant documentation and reporting needs, and establish timelines/calendars with program partners.
  • Collaborate with the Development and Donor Manager to report to grantors, donors, and external stakeholders promptly.
  • Participate with and represent MPSF in local partner meetings and events as necessary.
  • Identify new donor or fundraising partnership opportunities.
  • Compose and draft documents and correspondence for presentations, proposals, and reports.
  • Provide general office administrative and operational support.
  • Assist with marketing and communication support.
  • Create outreach materials and other collateral for the promotion of all MPSF scholarships, events, and engagement.
  • Utilize MPSF-specific software and databases for documentation and assist with data entry.
  • Manage volunteers as necessary.
  • Actively support the MPSF Strategic Plan.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, communications, non-profit management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Three to five years of experience in fundraising or business development desired.
  • A record of managing donor relations and gifts required.
  • Previous experience in donor stewardship and familiarity with donor management software, accounting software, and related systems necessary.
  • Foundation or public sector experience preferred.
