Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Solutions Architect to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will design, implement, and oversee infrastructure on the Azure platform. Collaborate with development teams to effectively deploy and manage Azure AI/ML/Cognitive services environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure utilizing Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates.
  • Create and maintain reusable Terraform modules for infrastructure components in GitLab.
  • Experience with Azure services such as APIM, Azure Functions, Application Insights, Azure Web Apps, Azure Monitoring, Azure Sentinel, Event Grid, and Azure Service Bus.
  • Proficient in scripting and automation using Python and PowerShell.
  • Familiarity with network protocols including DNS, SMTP, SNMP, SSH, and SFTP.
  • In-depth knowledge of Azure Compute, Database, Networking, Storage, and PaaS services.
  • Work with Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Storage for data infrastructure needs.
  • Monitor and enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of our Azure enterprise application pipeline and its architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Azure infrastructure and service-related issues.
  • Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with Data Owners to uphold Intuitive's data governance policies.
  • Document cloud architectures, procedures, and processes related to infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Support Azure Cognitive Services, including LLM, GenAI, and Machine Learning pipelines.
  • Stay informed about the latest Azure platform updates and best practices for Generative AI.
  • Work closely with the GenAI team to achieve release objectives.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure infrastructure and services.
  • Familiarity with Azure Cognitive Services, including LLM, GenAI, and Machine Learning pipelines is advantageous.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python and PowerShell.
  • Experience with Azure API Management, Key Vault, Application Gateway, and Microsoft Networking.
  • Experience with similar platforms like AWS and GCP is a significant advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Exceptional networking knowledge and experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Nutanix is a plus.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure AI Engineer) are beneficial.
  • Experience with GitLab and Jenkins is a considerable advantage.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps services, including Azure Pipelines, Repos, and Artifacts for CI/CD processes.
  • Experience with Docker and creating Docker images for deployment is a plus.
  • Experience managing container orchestration and scaling using Kubernetes is a plus.
