Key Responsibilities- Provide positive role modeling and teach life skills to residents.
- Conduct direct observation rounds and document patient behavior.
- Promote daily living skills through task assignment and supervision.
- Lead individual and group activities and programs.
- Orient patients to the unit and assist with discharge processes.
- Assist with verbal de-escalation techniques.
- Accompany patients to unit, mealtime, outdoor/indoor recreation, and education activities.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
- Education: High School Degree or equivalent, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Age: 21 years old or older.
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a children's services program or residential setting, or completion of two years of college in social sciences.
- Additional Requirements: Valid State Driver's License, ability to complete CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention Training during New Hire Orientation.
- Schedule: PRN - Day, Evening, and Overnight shifts available.
