Job Summary

The Therapeutic Training and Support Specialist assists the In-Home Therapist in implementing a therapeutic treatment plan and delivers training to the family and other providers as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk management and safety planning
  • Assist in treatment planning
  • Intensive Family Therapy
  • Identification of community resources and development of natural supports for youth and parent/guardian/caregiver
  • Coaching in support of decision-making in both crisis and non-crisis situations
  • Skills training for youth and parent/guardian/caregiver
  • Member transportation provided by staff
  • Member outreach
  • Receives weekly supervision from the Program Director
  • Compliance with HIPAA and Rise policies
  • Incentive pay offered after FT hours worked
  • All other duties assigned by Program Director

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology or closely related field, or Associate's degree with 1 year of behavioral health experience, or high school degree with a minimum of 2 years of behavioral health experience
  • 2+ years of behavioral and mental health experience with children and adolescents, including trauma-informed care
  • Valid driver's license and transportation
  • Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirement or receive an approved exemption
