Youth Care Specialist

At KVC Health Systems, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Care Specialist to join our team at the Ozark Family Resource Center - Emergency Shelter in Springfield, MO.
The Youth Care Specialist will be responsible for providing daily supervision and care to children and youth residing in the shelter, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. This includes attending to their physical needs, such as meals, hygiene, and healthcare requirements, as well as offering emotional support to help them manage stress and trauma.
The ideal candidate will have a strong customer service focus, excellent time management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. A high school diploma or GED equivalency, Class E driver's license with a good driving record, and proficiency in Word, Excel, and email applications are also required.
