About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, crafting creative and classic cocktails, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide impeccable customer service by warmly greeting patrons, attending to their needs promptly, and maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor throughout their visit.
  • Stay updated on beverage trends, including beers, wines, spirits, and mixers, to offer patrons informed recommendations and a diverse selection of drinks.
  • Craft creative and classic cocktails with precision, attention to detail, and a touch of flair to delight patrons.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all necessary supplies, ingredients, and equipment are readily available for efficient service.
  • Manage multiple drink orders simultaneously while maintaining awareness of the overall bar flow to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
  • Navigate the Point of Sale (POS) system proficiently to start and close out tabs accurately, process payments, and maintain an organized record of transactions.
  • Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines, including enforcing age restrictions and monitoring patrons' alcohol consumption to promote a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
  • Collaborate effectively with fellow bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff to coordinate orders, ensure smooth operations, and deliver an exceptional dining experience to patrons.
  • Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and proactively, finding swift and satisfactory resolutions to maintain customer satisfaction and uphold the establishment's reputation.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
  • Understanding of POS system. Knowledge of InfoGenesis is a plus.
  • Minimum 1-year previous bartending experience.
  • Understanding of alcohol laws and guidelines.
  • Relevant Training certificate(s).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Punctuality and ability to observe regular and consistent attendance.
  • Contribution to a positive team environment.
