Position Overview:

Role Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Respiratory Therapist is to deliver high-quality respiratory care to our patients. This includes performing both routine and advanced procedures utilizing a diverse range of techniques and equipment. The therapist will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assess patients' clinical conditions, monitor progress, and suggest appropriate care plans.
2. Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan respiratory care tailored to individual patient needs.
3. Execute various diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in accordance with established standards and guidelines.
4. Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and resolve issues effectively.
5. Document all interventions and patient responses accurately in the electronic medical record.
6. Educate patients and families about therapeutic modalities in a clear and comprehensible manner.

Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
- Valid Florida Respiratory Therapist License.
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential.
- Graduate from a CoARC-accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Current BLS and PALS certifications required.

Compensation:
Salary ranges from a minimum of $29.74 to a maximum of $47.58 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
