Job Summary

The Operations and Supply Chain organization at RTX has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Engineer to join their international team. This role is involved in all aspects of planning and executing the production of a wide range of weapon systems, from tactical missiles to strategic defense products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical knowledge and process expertise to support improvements in supplier performance.
  • Communicate and translate technical data packages to suppliers according to Global Trade requirements.
  • Lead and conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, opportunity, and risk.
  • Perform technical evaluations in support of cost and price analysis.
  • Manage product non-conformances and drive root cause investigation and corrective action.
  • Prioritize and execute improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate the technical health of suppliers to stakeholders.
  • Support international and/or domestic travel as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a supplier engineer or similar job role.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
  • International customer and/or supplier experience.
  • Experience with engineering interpretation of technical documentation.
  • Experience working with international suppliers.
