About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Danaher Corporation. As a key member of our Integrated Supply Chain Organization, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, developing and executing commodity strategies, and driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and improve supplier on-time delivery (OTD) performance.
  • Commodity Strategy Formulation and Execution: Collaborate with the Director of Materials to develop and execute commodity strategies, optimize supply chain design, and maximize adherence to Danaher's principles and standards.
  • Project Management: Manage project funnels, own strategic sourcing visual management, and partner with Supplier Quality to execute supplier qualifications.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Collaborate with operations, R&D, engineering, quality, sales, and product management teams to drive OTD and support external customers as needed.
  • Location Strategy Execution: Deliver commodity strategies and drive operational excellence.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Engineering, with 3+ years' experience in sourcing, purchasing, or supplier relationship management.
  • Global Sourcing Experience: Proven experience in global sourcing for a manufacturing company.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proven negotiation skills with demonstrated performance results.
  • Electronic Sourcing Tools: Experience utilizing electronic sourcing tools (eRFQ, eBid, eAuction, etc.).
  • Travel: Ability to travel 30% including some international.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Building Relationships: Previous experience in building, maintaining, and fostering relationships with suppliers.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt, think critically, and problem-solve under pressure.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuous improvement in manufacturing.
