Position Overview: As a Security Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the development, execution, and oversight of the organization's security frameworks, including radio communications, surveillance systems, access management, and identification badge protocols.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the global management of the surveillance camera network, C-cure access control systems, employee identification systems, and radio communication systems, including compliance with FCC regulations and alarm system management.
  • Serve as the project lead for all security-related initiatives, encompassing the installation of new security technologies, site evaluations, security audits, vendor coordination, and invoice processing.
  • Collaborate with external security agencies, the Risk Management team, and Facilities Management to implement effective security strategies.
  • Conduct safety assessments and physical security evaluations, promptly reporting any concerns to management.
  • Address site-specific security issues, ensuring the preservation of evidence in the event of incidents, emergencies, or security inquiries.
  • Support the development and implementation of building security protocols, safety training programs, and relevant policies and procedures.
  • Assist with Security Officer responsibilities as required, which may include travel, executive protection, or serving as an executive driver.
  • Execute all responsibilities in alignment with Monster Energy Company's policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal regulations. Create documentation for standard security operating procedures.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of experience in law enforcement is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Preferred certifications include a valid retired Law Enforcement CCW (Carry Concealed Weapon) permit and a valid CA BSIS (California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services) guard card and gun card.
  • Additional knowledge or skills that would contribute to success in this role: N/A.

Compensation: Base Pay Range: $67,000 - $84,000.
