Job Summary

Monster Energy is seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our team. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the organization's security systems, radio infrastructure, surveillance camera systems, access control, and badge access.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security Systems Management: Manage the company's camera surveillance system globally, C-cure access control and employee badge system, radio systems including FCC licensing and burglary alarm systems and vendors.
  • Project Management: Act as a project manager for all security work including installation of new security equipment, site walks, security assessments, vendor management, and invoice management.
  • Liaison and Communication: Liaison with outside security firms, Risk Manager, Facilities Manager in implementing security measures.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Conduct safety inspections, physical security checks and communicate issues with management.
  • Site Security: Handle site specific security matters. Protect evidence of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
  • Training and Development: Assist with implementation of building security, safety training programs, policies and procedures.
  • Support and Assistance: Assist with Security Officer duties as needed including travel, executive protection, and or executive driver.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Perform all duties in accordance with Monster Energy Company's policies and procedures and all state and federal rules and regulations. Develop documentation for standard security operating procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or related field of study.
  • Experience: Additional Experience Desired: More than 10 years of experience in law enforcement.
  • Computer Skills: Computer Skills Desired: Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Certifications: Preferred Certifications: Valid retired Law Enforcement CCW (Carry Concealed Weapon) permit. Valid CA BSIS (California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services) guard card and gun card.
