Job Summary

Lantech is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Customer Response Team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our distributor partners, external sales force, and end-users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and answer questions about equipment features and components
  • Assist customers in finding solutions for semi-automatic packaging applications
  • Help customers navigate LantechNET and Lantech.com
  • Quote semi-automatic and automatic machines, options, freight, and lead times
  • Process telephone leads and maintain team metrics with minimal call abandonment
  • Serve as a mentor to our distributor reps

Requirements

  • Extremely detail-oriented with superior follow-up skills
  • Great customer service skills, including patience and empathy
  • Prior experience demonstrating problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently in a team environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding and convey technical information to a varied audience

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma required
  • Prefer a minimum of 5-8 years of inside sales or customer service experience
  • Prior equipment application assessment experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • WinMan experience
  • Knowledge of Lantech Equipment preferred
