Comunilife is seeking a skilled Mental Health Counselor to provide essential services to homeless clients with mental health and substance abuse needs.

This role involves conducting mental health assessments, developing and implementing comprehensive service plans, and providing supportive counseling to clients.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, and experience working with vulnerable populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mental health assessments and develop service plans for clients
  • Provide supportive counseling and coordinate with mental health providers
  • Monitor client progress and ensure linkage to needed services
  • Collaborate with providers within and outside Comunilife
  • Develop and implement weekly groups, including the Wellness Self-Management model
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in mental health, preferably in Department of Homeless Services programs
  • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred
