Senior Systems Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to support the Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing (HPC) Modernization Program and the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) DoD Supercomputing Resource Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor HPC system performance and fine-tune as necessary
  • Review and establish workflow/scheduler policies on HPC systems
  • Collect utilization and throughput data for HPC jobs
  • Configure HPC systems using consistent and repeatable processes
  • Install and configure software on HPC systems
  • Collaborate with users to tune HPC jobs for optimal performance
  • Resolve user issues received via the HPC Help Desk
  • Perform testing on HPC systems to ensure system functionality
  • Document processes and configurations as necessary
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience
  • Top Secret/SC clearance
  • Experience with scheduler/workload manager (Portable Batch System (PBS), Simple Linux Utility for Resource Management (SLURM), or IBM Platform Load Sharing Facility (LSF))
  • Expertise in Linux operating system
  • High Performance Computing/cluster management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in various HPC systems, various HPC technologies
  • ITIL Foundation
