Job Overview
BAE Systems is in search of a skilled Network Administrator to support critical operations within the Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing (HPC) Modernization Program. The selected candidate will take on the role of Network Administrator, focusing on HPC engineering and operational support while collaborating with senior government officials overseeing vital national DoD HPC systems.

Key Responsibilities
The primary duties will encompass network administration for local enclaves, which includes managing hardware, firmware, software, and wiring/optics. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring networks and associated software utilities to enhance system performance. Additionally, conducting risk/benefit analyses prior to implementing changes will be essential. The Network Administrator will also maintain network topology and diagrams to support security measures and ensure compliance with DoD policies regarding all network devices.

Required Qualifications
A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or equivalent qualifications; candidates with military education, certifications, and additional experience are strongly encouraged to apply. An IAT-II certification is mandatory to commence.
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess over 4 years of experience with HPC systems, particularly with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)/CentOS operating systems and Intel CPUs. Familiarity with network technologies and firewalls such as Juniper, Arista, and Brocade is preferred. ITIL Foundation certification is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
Full-Time Salary Range: $142,600.

Please note that this range is based on market pay structures. Individual salaries will be influenced by various factors including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, education, and experience.
