Job Title: Laboratory Oil Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Oil Analyst to join our team at Logmet LLC. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and safety of jet engine operations through comprehensive oil analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in oil analysis, materials testing, or a related field. Familiarity with aerospace applications is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and prepare oil samples from various jet engine components and systems for laboratory testing.
  • Conduct a variety of physical and chemical tests on oil samples, including viscosity, acidity, flash point, and contamination levels.
  • Analyze test results to assess oil quality and performance, identifying trends and anomalies.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in laboratory testing methods and equipment used in oil analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with data analysis software and laboratory management systems.
