Technical Migration Specialist

At TEKsystems, we are seeking a skilled Technical Migration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in the successful migration of Windows 7 to Windows 10 systems.
We estimate the salary for this position to be around $85,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
About the JobThe Technical Migration Specialist will be responsible for assisting with the planning, execution, and validation of Windows 10 migrations across various facilities and departments. This includes working closely with stakeholders to identify technical requirements, develop implementation plans, and ensure seamless deployments.

Key Responsibilities- Assist with Windows 10 migration efforts, ensuring timely and successful deployments.

- Work closely with end-users across various departments to understand their technical requirements and provide support as needed.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including migration plans, implementation guides, and training materials.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- 1-2 years of experience in technical migration, desktop support, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, particularly Windows 7 and Windows 10.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
