Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Post-Award Financial Specialist to join our team at the University of Vermont. In this role, you will be responsible for providing post-award financial administration and management for research funds in accordance with campus policy and agency requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of contracts and grants transactions, applicable financial systems, and related policy requirements. You will partner with SPA Financial Analysts to interpret sponsor regulations and University policies for Principal Investigators and serve as a primary information resource for college research administration procedures.

As a Post-Award Financial Specialist, you will participate in on-boarding PIs with respect to their roles and responsibilities in the financial management of sponsored projects. You will also partner with FAs to deliver and lead training initiatives.

In addition to your technical skills, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.

This is a full-time position that requires a Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of relevant work experience. A Certified Research Administration (CRA) or Certified Financial Research Administration (CFRA) designation is highly desirable.

Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year.
