Overview

SymQuest, a leading provider of innovative technology solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Technical Connectivity Specialist to join its Networked Solutions team. This individual will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical installation and support services to clients across the Vermont and New Hampshire region.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a customer-centric professional with strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for providing top-notch customer experiences. As a Technical Connectivity Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, leveraging your expertise to install, configure, and troubleshoot networked devices and software solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote installation and configuration services for connected devices and software solutions on client networks
  • Troubleshoot and integrate various networked hardware and software solutions, requiring knowledge of server administration, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Citrix, GSuite, and workstation operating systems
  • Manage the installation process, including equipment setup, testing, user training, and support, as well as follow-up communication and documentation
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve high-priority/complex issues from clients and internal teams
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and internal teams to ensure successful installation and support of connected products
  • Develop and maintain knowledge articles for new and existing issues/procedures
  • Accurately and timely log problems and resolutions in CRM tools
  • Contribute to enhancing existing networking solutions and identifying innovative ideas related to the industry
  • Provide consultative pre-sales services to clients to assist sales teams
  • Travel may be required to visit on-site clients

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience and/or training; field service technicians with similar experience are preferred
  • Excellent language skills, including reading, comprehension, and writing; ability to present information effectively to clients and colleagues
  • Strong PC proficiency, including hardware and software; experience with latest operating systems
  • Knowledge of network operating systems (Windows Server), workstation operating systems (Windows 7, 10, and Mac OS), and basic router and switch understanding
  • Networking knowledge and certifications are highly desirable
  • Inherent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to isolate problems quickly through logical deduction

Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience
