Job Overview

We're seeking a seasoned leader to oversee our claims processing organization, ensuring timely and compliant claims handling. As a Claims Director Leader, you'll drive strategic direction, innovation, and excellence in cost and service.

Responsibilities

">

  1. Develop and implement claims adjudication policies and procedures to maximize accuracy and compliance.
  2. Evaluate claims activities to assess cost-effectiveness and implement process improvements.
  3. Drive strategic direction, including innovation and service excellence, across the entire claims function.
  4. Establish and monitor key performance indicators and metrics to measure departmental performance.
  5. Identify trends, develop plans to improve results, and deliver excellence in cost and service.
  6. Provide sign-off approval of complex or high-dollar claims and conduct settlement discussions or mediations when necessary.
  7. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the claims organization.
  8. Work with the Claims Compliance Liaison to ensure correct interpretation of new statutory and federal regulations are properly inserted into claims workflow.
  9. Review audit reports to ensure compliance and report to Leadership, making changes to improve quality.
  10. Oversee departmental support projects and manage multiple cross-functional projects by assigning resources, working on timelines, and implementing schedules to complete project timelines.
  11. Analyze savings and track post-implementation results of changes in product, process, or projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of related experience OR High School Diploma or GED with 10+ years related experience.

Estimated Salary

$140,000 - $180,000 per year, based on location and experience.
