Job Summary

Bristol-Myers Squibb is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Drug Development Project Management to join our team. As a key member of our Global Program Team, you will be responsible for leading the strategic and operational planning and decision-making process for early and late development programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Global Program Lead and Global Project Manager to co-lead the strategic and operational planning and decision-making process for early and late development programs.
  • Provide content expertise to the timing, costs, and resources required for development programs and ensure successful delivery of program milestones and goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and foster positive team dynamics.
  • Develop and coordinate resource and budget planning across functions to ensure adequate resources are applied to the project.
  • Advises on governance expectations and prepares for key decision point discussions with focus on cross-functional input and rigorous debate.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (Ph.D. desirable) in Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Physical Sciences, or other relevant discipline.
  • PMP certification is desirable.
  • 8+ years of drug development experience, with 10+ years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical/health care industry.
  • Proven track record of planning and managing complex programs in early and/or late phase drug development.
  • Expert understanding of the end-to-end processes in drug development and product value assessment.
  • Leadership skills including situational leadership, ability to lead a team of experts and influence without authority.
