We are seeking a dedicated **Field Sampling Technician** to enhance our operations at Jupiter Environmental Laboratories, Inc. This role is vital for the effective collection of field samples and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the collection of field samples within designated areas from clients.
  • Organize and complete daily routes based on established priorities.
  • Prepare and distribute sample containers and materials to various clients to support their needs.
  • Regularly transport, set up, operate, troubleshoot, and dismantle sample collection and monitoring equipment for assigned projects.
  • Engage directly with clients, providing precise information regarding sample collection timelines and access requirements.
  • Maintain communication with supervisors and the main laboratory, routinely updating them on timelines and sample/project statuses throughout the daily route.
  • Conduct on-site testing as necessary, accurately recording all data and completing required documentation for samples.
  • Safely transport samples back to the laboratory, ensuring accurate sample custody documentation, and occasionally coordinating with other technicians for sample transport and supply exchanges.
  • Adhere to traffic laws while driving and maintain the assigned vehicle in accordance with company cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  • Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company health and safety policies; refrain from entering confined spaces without explicit approval from management.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and records related to field sampling activities, ensuring all data is logged accurately and ethically, while assisting in sample custody.
