The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our facilities operations team, you will be responsible for providing 24/7 technical support and troubleshooting assistance to field operations for critical infrastructure equipment, including power distribution, fire systems, generators, and HVAC systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier II support to field technicians and management in stabilizing emergency situations and reducing dependency on vendor support.
  • Maintain core site readiness by identifying and documenting deficiencies, prioritizing tasks, and escalating critical issues to management.
  • Identify critical infrastructure in need of replacement and work with management to submit replacement requests.
  • Participate as a subject matter expert on task forces and cross-functional projects, advising departments on technical solutions and barriers.
  • Provide in-office or on-site disaster recovery support for facilities and critical infrastructure equipment.
  • Assist program managers with maintenance schedules and ensure critical infrastructure information is accurate for Business Continuity Planning (BCP) purposes.
  • Provide on-site preventive maintenance inspection (PMI) training and technical troubleshooting training to field technicians.
  • Manage capacity for critical infrastructure within core sites under your area of responsibility.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working with critical infrastructure, electrical, and electronic systems (AC/DC power).
  • Effective communication skills, ability to perform complex technical tasks, lead teams, vendors, and contractors in projects/assignments/tasks of major scope and complexity.
  • Ability to travel in short notice to provide hands-on assistance with emergency situations.
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal customers and external parties.
  • Strong working knowledge of Internet and computing skills.
  • Provide guidance to team members.
Compensation

The starting salary for this role varies based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, and compensation depends on individual qualifications.

This position is eligible for short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions are also eligible for long-term incentive. To learn more about our bonus structure, please visit our website.
