Boilermaker Foreman

As a Boilermaker Foreman at TIC - The Industrial Company, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of crew members to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely completion of construction projects. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to plan, coordinate, and organize resources to meet project objectives.

• Plan and coordinate crew activities to meet project timelines and specifications
• Ensure the safe operation of construction equipment and maintain accurate reporting records
• Develop and maintain a positive crew attitude through effective communication and leadership
• Monitor compliance with company policies and government regulations
• Assist in developing weekly schedules and carrying out sequence of activities for assigned crew

• High school diploma or equivalent with previous experience in the field or related area
• Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge and skill to perform all essential functions of craft workers under supervision
• Ability to perform task planning to safely and efficiently carry out all aspects of work assigned
• Working knowledge of scheduling, material control, and unit manhour performance
• Ability to understand, follow, and transmit written and oral instructions

This role requires constant movement around a construction site, with exposure to changing outdoor weather conditions. The ability to work irregular hours, weekends, and overtime is also required. The person in this position must be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl, and may be required to use ladders, mechanical platforms, manlifts, and scaffolds to access required equipment and work areas.
