We are seeking candidates who have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 18 years old
- Experience as a certified pharmacy technician in a retail environment
- An active CPhT certification

Key Responsibilities:

Pharmacy Operations:
  • Deliver exemplary customer service and uphold service standards
  • Embody the principles of 'Greet, Ask & Thank' and adhere to H-E-B communication strategies
  • Manage exception handling and resolve third-party issues
  • Process prescriptions accurately using RxEVO; verify patient information and manage third-party claims
  • Coordinate health screening events and immunization scheduling; assist with additional professional services as required
  • Maintain active participation in pharmacy screening events
  • Support pharmacy operations by responding to recalls and managing inventory
  • Process daily invoices and manage inventory orders
  • Verify delivery accuracy and address discrepancies with vendors
  • Maintain automated prescription processing equipment, ensuring proper functionality
  • Conduct computer troubleshooting and manage prescription applications
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary

Compliance:
  • Assemble prescriptions accurately and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Participate in pharmacy compliance initiatives and uphold organizational standards
  • Ensure proper return to stock procedures and maintain organized pharmacy shelves
  • Assist in maintaining facility standards and compliance with operational protocols

Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Preferred 3+ years of pharmacy experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a certified pharmacy technician
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Active State of Texas registration as a certified pharmacy technician (CPhT)
  • Completion of all required training and certifications

Essential Skills:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy management tasks and systems
  • Understanding of H-E-B Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Strong communication and telephone etiquette skills
  • Intermediate computer proficiency, including MS Office and pharmacy-related applications
  • Mathematical skills for accurate measurement calculations
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain focus
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
  • Dexterity for repetitive tasks and adherence to specific vision requirements
