Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct resident care services, including medication distribution and administration.
- Follow individualized care plans for each resident, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Perform resident evaluations and report any changes to the Director of Nursing or Executive Director.
- Assist with completing and maintaining current individualized care plans for each resident.
- Provide timely interventions and share information with care staff and family as instructed.
- Check and record vital signs, weights, and blood sugars as assigned.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, oral care, toileting, dressing, and transfers.
- Participate in the oversight and management of medication delivery systems, including timely order entry, receipt, and tracking.
- Notify pharmacy and supervisor of issues and seek resolution in a timely manner.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current state certification for corresponding role (Certified Medication Technician, Qualified Medication Aide, Certified Medication Aide, Level 1 Med Aide)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- At least one year of related work experience, preferably in senior care
- Ability to work well with others, take direction from management, and take initiative to ensure resident needs are met
