PACU Assistant Nurse Manager

The Assistant Nurse Manager is a registered nurse who coordinates clinical activities within the Department and collaborates with other healthcare team members. This role involves direct and indirect supervision of department staff members, assuming house supervision duties as assigned, and collaborating with the Manager and/or Director to plan, organize, and supervise delivery of care/standards of practice in the procedural departments.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Manager and/or Director to plan, organize, and supervise delivery of care/standards of practice in the procedural departments.
- Directly and indirectly supervise the care rendered by all department staff members.
- Assume house supervision duties as assigned.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in patient satisfaction and participate in all customer service activities.
- Responsible for the general management of patient/customer concerns including resolution and service recovery.
- Optimize the use of resources to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse with excellent leadership and communication skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and maintain accurate records is essential. Additionally, the candidate should be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
