Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Crew Member to join our team at Chaifetz Arena. As a member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the arena by performing various cleaning duties within the seating bowl, concourse, suites, restrooms, and locker rooms for various events.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and bathrooms using established practices and procedures.
  • Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty and clean wastebaskets and trash containers; refill restroom dispensers.
  • Use and maintain assigned equipment and hand tools.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

  • Reliable transportation and working contact information are required to work at Chaifetz Arena.
  • Must be a team player and perform tasks as assigned by supervisors.
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs or more on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and bend on a continuous basis.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts are generally evening/overnight and could range from 4 hours to 12 hours.
  • Must be able to work in a manner that is safe and effective.

About Chaifetz Arena

Chaifetz Arena is a 10,600-seat venue sitting on the campus of Saint Louis University and is privately managed by Oak View Group. Since opening in 2008, Chaifetz Arena has served as the home venue for the SLU Billikens men's and women's basketball teams and has hosted a diverse range of concerts, family shows, national sporting events, and much more.
