Job Title: Ticket Seller

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Ticket Seller to join our team at the Chaifetz Arena. As a Ticket Seller, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, both in person and over the phone. You will assist with the purchasing of tickets for upcoming events, provide accurate information to interested parties, and troubleshoot any ticketing issues that may arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Assist with the purchasing of tickets for upcoming events via Ticketmaster Archtics.
  • Provide full and accurate information to interested parties, including event details and ticketing options.
  • Help troubleshoot any ticketing issues that may arise, including day-of and pre-event issues.
  • Field all inquiries about the venue, directing calls to the appropriate departments as needed.
  • Assist in providing a safe and secure environment for Chaifetz Arena, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Address any customer complaints in a respectful and helpful manner, escalating issues to managers as needed.
  • Balance cash drawer at end of each shift, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation.
  • Monitor Will Call and verify ID of those picking up tickets.
  • Provide excellent customer service assistance to internal and external parties, including event staff and vendors.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Customer service experience, with a focus on providing exceptional service to guests.
  • Cash handling experience, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in the English language.
  • Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, remaining flexible in role.
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule, including long hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
