Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at AllSTEM Connections. As a key member of our industrial metals plant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and repair Temper Line and Plasma/Oxy-Fuel Table equipment to maintain efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Perform general maintenance on plant equipment, including lubrication, monitoring, repairing, preventative maintenance, and inspections.
  • Complete work orders and identify potential equipment problems to initiate improvement projects.
  • Communicate with operators to ensure a smooth flow of operations and detect potential problems.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 manuals, as well as all safety rules and regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial and preventative maintenance experience.
  • Solid mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and welding skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, and basic computer skills.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

The employee will work in a fast-paced industrial environment with exposure to equipment in motion, noise, and environmental hazards. The ability to wear personal protective equipment and work around moving trucks and industrial mobile equipment is required.
