Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Data Specialist to support our clients in the Washington, DC area.

About the Role

This position requires a strong understanding of financial database development, data warehousing, and integration methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Oracle's Federal Financials system, Contract Lifecycle Management module, and Business Intelligence Analytics tool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial management systems for federal agencies.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on government financial systems.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to augment training from the Federal Shared Service Provider (FSSP) and DHS Joint Program Management Office (JPMO).
  • Create documentation to support system implementation and operation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree (preferred) and 10 years of experience in accounting or a related field, or a high school diploma and 15 years of direct experience in federal government and/or military accounting.
  • Secret Clearance.
  • Strong analytical and policy analysis backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication, written, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and respond to quick turn-around requests.
  • Superior skills with Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, health savings account, 401(k) with matching contributions, Roth, qualified transportation expense, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, basic and voluntary life insurance, wellness program, PTO, and 11 holidays.
