Job Title: Commercial Insurance Account Executive
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join our team at The Jonus Group. As a key member of our insurance team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients, building strong relationships, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Renewal process ownership and coordination with internal teams.
- Client and carrier communication regarding renewal deadlines.
- Processing endorsements and certificates with internal teams.
- Prompt handling of client inquiries and concerns.
- Maintaining excellent communication with clients, carriers, producers, and team members.
- Preparing comprehensive insurance submissions to carriers.
- Reviewing and analyzing carrier quotations for clients.
- Creating professional insurance proposals for client presentations.
- Reviewing endorsements for accuracy and compliance.
- Performing thorough contract reviews for insurance requirements.
- Assisting clients during premium audits and disputes.
- Issuing certificates of insurance as required.
- Verifying policy accuracy before delivery to clients.
- Developing and nurturing strong relationships with clients and carriers.
- Addressing client inquiries related to administration, billing, claims, and services.
- Identifying cross-sell opportunities within client accounts.
- Suggesting new lines of coverage to clients based on their needs.
- Marketing client accounts and preparing marketing information.
- Completing policy implementation and delivering required forms to clients.
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, certifications, and training.
- Providing accurate information to clients regarding underwriting requirements.
- Mentoring team members and offering guidance and support.
- Prioritizing and managing workload efficiently.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of insurance products and ability to provide expert advice.
- Exceptional client service orientation with a proactive approach.
- Experience handling client inquiries and providing timely resolutions.
- Building and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail in policy reviews and client communication.
- Active Property and Casualty (P&C) Insurance License.
- Agency Management System Experience: EPIC.
- 5+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
- Previous Transportation experience required.
- Previous experience handling large business accounts.
- Professional designation or comparable job experience.
- Above-average computer skills with the capacity to master essential software programs.
