Clinical Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Mental Health Specialist to provide behavioral health services to patients at Atrium Health in Concord, NC. As a member of our team, you will complete psychosocial assessments and deliver direct treatment through individual, family, and group psychotherapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on identified needs, ensuring the highest level of service delivery.
- Manages clients in crisis using appropriate therapeutic skills and assessment techniques, prioritizing their well-being and safety.
- Collaborates with guardians and community agencies to ensure effective service delivery and support networks for patients.
- Provides accurate and timely documentation of patient care and response in medical records, adhering to confidentiality and regulatory standards.
- Designs and implements effective patient education programs, empowering individuals to manage their mental health effectively.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a relevant human services field, such as Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy, from an accredited institution is required.
- Full licensure in NC is necessary for this role.
- 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, showcasing your expertise in delivering high-quality mental health services.
- Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) and CPR training is required for those working in inpatient psychiatric settings.
Compensation:
