Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at Concord Hospital. This role will play a critical part in performing diagnostic tests, analyzing data, and providing laboratory results to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various medical laboratory diagnostic tests and procedures on blood and body fluid specimens
  • Interpret and document test results accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain equipment, calibrate instruments, and perform quality control procedures
  • Provide technical support to other laboratory staff members and hospital employees
  • Train and orient new staff members, including students
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
  • MLS (ASCP) certification or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in acute care hospital lab environment preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
