Position Overview: The Quad Cities MetroLink is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Technician to join our team. The compensation for this role is set at $34.57 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. ASE certified technicians are eligible for an annual bonus.

Key Responsibilities: Technicians will be responsible for maintaining a fleet of compressed natural gas and electric buses. Duties include:

  • Conducting inspections and troubleshooting to identify electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Performing repairs on electrical components and systems.
  • Executing heavy repairs on brakes, suspension, engines, and transmissions.
  • Assessing vehicles to determine the need for additional safety or service work.

Additional Requirements: Post-offer requirements include a criminal background check, a driver's license verification, the ability to obtain security clearance, a pre-employment physical, and a Department of Transportation pre-employment drug screening.
