Customer Service Specialist

This role is crucial to the success of our retail stores. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions to meet their requirements. Your primary goal will be to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring maximum satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting suitable products and services
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain accurate work order files and formulas
  • Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications
  • Stock shelves and set up displays to maintain a visually appealing store environment
  • Clean store equipment and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Assist with deliveries as needed
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition of assigned areas
  • Stay up-to-date on products offered and discuss available options with customers
  • Comply with inventory control procedures
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales and suggest solutions
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role
  • Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Previous experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in multiple languages
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
