Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with customers via phone, email, or online chat to provide support and information on products or services.
  • Collect and enter orders for new or additional products.
  • Assist Technical Sales Representatives with price negotiation and contract review.
  • Field customer questions and complaints, and escalate issues to the assigned Technical Sales Representative or other staff as needed.
  • Maintain customer accounts and records of customer interactions.
  • Monitor inventory levels for specific customer products.
  • Collaborate with Technical Sales Representatives on project management.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
  • Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or related software.
  • Technical math and mechanical skills preferred.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years inside sales/customer service experience.
  • Experience reading blueprints.
  • Experience in rubber, seal, gasket, or other industrial parts beneficial.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
