Director of Business Development for Drug Packaging and Delivery

We are seeking a seasoned business development leader to drive growth and expansion of our drug delivery services in North America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceuticals and medical devices, with a deep understanding of drug delivery technologies and solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Establish a viable business development strategy to target and qualify new customer opportunities in North America for drug packaging and combination product solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
- Lead negotiations and contract development with clients and partners.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and related institutions.
- Actively progress the pipeline of opportunities to ensure individual and relevant OU financial objectives (revenue, margin) are fully met.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical engineering or business/marketing discipline, MBA preferred.
- Proven industry track record in sales and/or marketing, with 15+ years of hands-on experience in developing new business opportunities in the drug delivery and combination product space.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Able to operate with significant autonomy, with a self-starter mentality and independent decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality, accurate work within the required timeline.
- Interpersonal and influencing skills to foster collaboration and success in a matrix, global environment.
