Executive Director of Hospital Operations

The Executive Director of Hospital Operations will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the hospital, including revenue growth, expense management, and financial goal achievement.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the operations of all hospital departments, excluding Nursing, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Coordinate facility and program planning, budget preparation, and hospital policy formulation to drive business growth and improvement.
- Represent the hospital at professional, civic, and governmental organizations and meetings to foster partnerships and collaborations.
- Partner with physicians to recruit and retain top talent, and work closely with the Chief Executive Officer to ensure regulatory compliance and quality accreditations.
- Develop and implement strategies to create a positive work environment, encouraging employee recruitment and retention.
- Analyze areas for performance improvement and implement initiatives to drive business growth and efficiency.
- Assist in planning new services to generate additional revenue streams and manage costs to eliminate non-value expenses.
- Participate in monthly operation reviews and corporate office meetings to ensure alignment with hospital goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution.
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration or MBA with Healthcare emphasis required.
- Minimum 4 years of recent hospital experience managing multiple departments in an acute care facility.
- Experience in physician relations or recruitment required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to maintain confidential information and knowledge of technical and professional skills management, human resource management, labor relations, and hospital economics.
