Vivo HealthStaff is seeking an Executive Vice President of Operations for a distinguished healthcare institution situated in a scenic coastal region of Oregon.

This reputable organization provides a wide array of medical services catering to individuals across all age groups.

Executive Vice President of Operations


Job Responsibilities:


  • Oversee effective, patient-centered workflows, processes, resident systems, and programming.
  • Cultivate collaboration and devise strategies for operational systems, processes, and personnel assignments to support organizational growth and strategic planning goals, with a focus on patient care.
  • Act on behalf of the Hospital CEO during their absence or as designated, coordinating key segments of the hospital organization and conveying a unified vision to all stakeholders.
  • Set high performance expectations for the leadership team to enhance the quality and efficiency of patient care.
  • Lead the formulation, execution, and supervision of standards, systems, policies, and procedures that align with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Meet revenue targets, cost objectives, and market share goals within assigned departments/service lines.
  • Maximize resource utilization, including personnel, capital, and knowledge, to fulfill organizational aims while scaling and standardizing services.
  • Exhibit proficiency in strategic planning and goal/objective formulation, ensuring departmental goals align with the Hospital's mission and strategic framework.
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with physicians, actively engaging in physician retention and recruitment efforts.
  • Keep abreast of current trends, changes, and legislation through professional affiliations and contacts.

Physical/Mental/Environmental Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting with occasional standing and walking.

  • May require travel to off-site locations.


Application Requirements:

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE CURRENT EXPERIENCE IN ACUTE CARE HOSPITAL SETTINGS TO BE CONSIDERED.

  • A Master's degree in Business Administration, Business, or Hospital Administration (extensive experience may be considered in lieu of formal education).
  • At least five years of progressive experience in a similar capacity within an acute care hospital/facility.
  • Multifaceted experience in an acute care hospital with a track record of expanding service lines.
