Qualifications:

The Certified Medication Technician will assist in the administration of medications under the direct oversight of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. This role also involves supporting licensed nursing staff by performing routine nursing tasks and assisting with daily living activities.

  • Completion of a State-approved Medication Technician Course or Certified Nurses Aide Course, including any required continuing education.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform basic arithmetic. Proficiency in documenting care provided is essential.
